Boyas Blancas

Boyas Blancas is an advanced freshwater dive site located in the Corrientes province of northeastern Argentina, in the subtropical region near the legendary Ibera wetlands and the Parana River system. This challenging site offers a distinctly different diving experience from Argentina's mountain reservoirs, immersing divers in the warm, wildlife-rich waters of the Mesopotamia region. The name 'White Buoys' refers to the navigation markers that identify the dive area within this extensive river system. The Parana and its tributaries form one of South America's largest waterway networks, and diving here means entering a powerful freshwater ecosystem where the scale of the water and the strength of the current create conditions that demand respect and experience.
