
Old Man's Hat is a popular beginner-friendly dive site in Sydney's Northern Beaches, near Manly. This sheltered rocky reef offers easy shore entry and features interesting boulder formations covered in colorful sponges and sea fans. The site is home to blue groper, cuttlefish, moray eels, and Port Jackson sharks during winter months. With depths typically under 12 meters and calm conditions, it's an ideal training site and a favorite for night dives.

Absolutely stunning dive site. The visibility was exceptional and we spotted several species we had never seen before. Will definitely come back.
