
Steve's Bommie is an intermediate dive site on the Ribbon Reefs section of the outer Great Barrier Reef, near Cooktown in Far North Queensland. This impressive coral pinnacle rises from 30 meters and is renowned as one of the most biodiverse single dive sites on the entire GBR. Every surface is covered in hard and soft corals, with nudibranchs, pygmy seahorses, and countless macro critters hiding in the crevices. Larger visitors include minke whales during season, reef sharks, and turtles.
