The Nursery

The Nursery is a beginner-friendly dive site in Jervis Bay, New South Wales, aptly named for its role as a breeding and nursery ground for many marine species. At 16 meters depth, this sheltered reef features seagrass beds and rocky outcrops that provide essential habitat for juvenile fish, seahorses, pipefish, and cuttlefish. The calm conditions and shallow profile make it an ideal training site, while the abundance of small marine creatures offers excellent macro photography opportunities.
