Wave Break Island

Wave Break Island is a beginner-friendly dive and snorkel site located in the Broadwater on Queensland's Gold Coast. This small sandy island is surrounded by shallow waters with rocky reef patches that support a surprising amount of marine life for an estuarine environment. Divers can encounter wobbegong sharks, rays, octopus, and various reef fish. The sheltered location provides calm conditions ideal for training dives and underwater photography workshops.
