Sergeant Major Reef is a beginner-friendly dive site in Bonaire, named after the ubiquitous sergeant major damselfish that patrol the reef in large numbers. These feisty yellow-and-black striped fish are particularly entertaining to watch as they defend their egg nests. Beyond the namesake fish, the reef features healthy coral diversity and a full complement of Caribbean reef species, making it an engaging and educational dive for all levels.

Absolutely stunning dive site. The visibility was exceptional and we spotted several species we had never seen before. Will definitely come back.
Great spot for advanced divers. Currents can be tricky but the marine life makes it worth it.
One of the best dive sites in the region. Highly recommended.
