
Naufrágio Castor is an advanced wreck dive off the coast of Bahia near Porto Seguro, Brazil, at 15 meters depth. This shipwreck resting on the warm tropical seafloor has become an important artificial reef in the region. The wreck's structure is colonized by hard corals, sponges, and algae typical of the Abrolhos reef system. Schools of snapper, groupers, and barracuda congregate around the hull, making it one of the most popular dive sites in southern Bahia.
