The Sapona Wreck is one of the Bahamas' most iconic dive and snorkel sites near Bimini. This concrete-hulled cargo ship, built during World War I, ran aground during a hurricane and now sits partially above and below the waterline. The shallow depth makes it accessible to snorkelers and beginner divers, while the dramatic structure provides shelter for an incredible variety of tropical fish, stingrays, and the occasional reef shark.
