Sand Chute

Sand Chute is an intermediate dive site near Nassau, Bahamas. This unique formation features a sandy channel that cuts through the reef wall, creating a natural slide from the shallow reef platform into deeper water. Divers can descend through the chute to reach the deeper wall, where sea fans and sponges decorate the vertical face. Southern stingrays are often found in the sandy channel, while reef sharks patrol the deeper water beyond.
