Steel Forest

Steel Forest is an advanced dive site near Nassau, Bahamas, featuring an underwater forest of steel support structures from a demolished pier. These vertical steel beams create an eerie yet fascinating artificial reef that has been colonized by sponges, corals, and hydroids. The 'trees' attract dense fish life, with large schools of grunts and snapper weaving between the steel columns. Barracuda and reef sharks patrol the perimeter of this unique underwater landscape.
