Carrière Flintkote near Thetford Mines, Quebec is an extraordinary deep quarry dive reaching an impressive 110 meters, making it one of the deepest inland dive sites in Canada. This former asbestos quarry, now flooded with remarkably clear water, attracts technical divers from across the country. The quarry walls descend dramatically into the abyss, with various depth plateaus offering stopping points. Only experienced technical divers with proper gas mixes and training should attempt the deeper sections, while recreational divers can enjoy the stunning clarity and wall formations at shallower depths.
