Cuevas (Caves) is an intermediate dive to 20 meters near the San Bernardo Archipelago off Colombia's Caribbean coast. The site features underwater cave formations and overhangs in the rocky reef, where nurse sharks, groupers, and lobsters shelter in the shadows. The surrounding reef is covered with healthy corals and sponges typical of the southern Caribbean, with schools of tropical fish adding movement and color. The cave exploration element combined with tropical reef diving creates an engaging intermediate experience in these off-the-beaten-path Colombian waters.
