Nuquà on Colombia's Pacific coast offers beginner-friendly diving in one of the country's most biodiverse marine regions. The warm waters of the Chocó department feature rocky reefs, sandy bottoms, and rich Pacific marine life including colorful reef fish, sea turtles, and large schools of tropical species. During the humpback whale season from July to October, divers may hear whale songs underwater. The remote jungle setting and pristine Pacific ecosystems make Nuquà a unique alternative to Colombia's Caribbean diving destinations.
