Double Reef

Double Reef is an advanced shore dive in Curaçao featuring a unique double reef formation. The site consists of two parallel reef walls separated by a sandy channel, creating distinct diving zones with different marine life communities. The inner reef is shallower with healthy hard corals and tropical fish, while the outer reef drops deeper with larger sponges, gorgonians, and more pelagic species. The sandy channel between the reefs hosts garden eels, stingrays, and occasional seahorses. The depth of the outer reef requires advanced certification, but Double Reef's unique topography provides one of Curaçao's most varied and interesting dive experiences.
