
The Elpida Wreck is an advanced dive site off the coast of Larnaca, Cyprus. This cargo vessel was deliberately sunk to create an artificial reef and now rests on a sandy bottom, attracting a thriving ecosystem. The intact superstructure offers exciting penetration opportunities for experienced divers, with corridors and compartments to explore. The wreck is adorned with soft corals, sponges, and hydroids, while groupers, lionfish, and schools of bream patrol its perimeter. Visibility in Larnaca's waters is typically excellent, allowing divers to appreciate the full scale of this impressive wreck.
