Puntilla

Puntilla is an intermediate dive site near Sosúa on the Dominican Republic's north coast, reaching 20 meters depth. The site features a rocky reef with swim-throughs and small caverns carved by Atlantic wave action. Lobsters and moray eels inhabit the crevices, while schools of horse-eye jacks patrol the blue water above. The moderate currents bring nutrient-rich Atlantic waters that support lush coral growth and attract a diverse range of reef and pelagic species.
