Bannerfish Bay

Bannerfish Bay is a popular beginner dive site in Dahab, named after the large schools of bannerfish that congregate here. The sandy-bottomed bay is surrounded by coral reef walls creating a natural amphitheater. Beyond the bannerfish, divers encounter lionfish, crocodilefish resting on the sand, and blue-spotted stingrays. The bay's gentle slope and shallow maximum depth make it perfect for discover scuba diving sessions and snorkeling. At night, the bay transforms as hunting cephalopods and crustaceans emerge from hiding.
