
Um El Sid is a beginner-friendly shore dive in the southern part of Dahab, featuring a gentle reef slope with diverse coral gardens. The site is known for its relaxed atmosphere and reliable marine life sightings. Triggerfish, pufferfish, and parrotfish are common residents, while blue-spotted stingrays rest on sandy patches. The reef is in good health with a variety of hard and soft corals. Um El Sid is a favorite for afternoon dives and sunset snorkeling sessions, with the mountains of Sinai providing a stunning backdrop.
