Balena Wreck is a beginner-friendly wreck dive near Hurghada in Egypt's Red Sea, resting at a comfortable shallow depth. This small cargo vessel has been well-colonized by hard and soft corals, transforming it into a colorful artificial reef. Schools of anthias cloud the superstructure in pink and orange, while crocodilefish lie camouflaged on the sandy bottom nearby. The wreck's manageable size and shallow position make it an excellent first wreck dive experience, with plenty of marine life to discover both on and around the structure.
