Erg Abu Ramada is an advanced dive site at Abu Ramada Island south of Hurghada in Egypt's Red Sea. The site features massive coral pinnacles rising from deep water, their walls festooned with spectacular soft corals in electric blues and purples. Strong currents attract large schools of barracuda, jacks, and trevally, while grey reef sharks patrol the deeper waters. The dramatic topography and rich pelagic life make this one of Hurghada's premier dive sites for experienced divers seeking big marine encounters.
