Gota Abu Ramada is a beginner-friendly dive site at Abu Ramada Island south of Hurghada in Egypt's Red Sea. The sheltered reef features a beautiful coral garden with pristine hard corals and swaying soft corals. The site is famous for its friendly resident green turtles that are accustomed to divers. Clouds of anthias, butterflyfish, and angelfish fill the water column above the reef. The easy access and guaranteed turtle encounters make Gota Abu Ramada one of Hurghada's most popular and photogenic dive sites.
