Hamda is an intermediate dive site in the Hurghada area of Egypt's Red Sea, featuring a reef plateau that drops into deeper water. The plateau is covered in pristine coral formations including massive Porites colonies and delicate Acropora tables. Eagle rays, turtles, and schools of unicornfish frequent the reef edge. The moderate depth and occasional currents provide an interesting challenge for certified divers, while the excellent visibility typical of this area allows full appreciation of the reef's impressive coral architecture.
