Sharm El Arab is an advanced dive site in the Hurghada area of Egypt's Red Sea, featuring a deep wall system with challenging currents. The site rewards experienced divers with pristine soft coral gardens in spectacular colors and large pelagic encounters. Grey reef sharks, barracuda, and eagle rays are regularly seen along the wall. The deeper sections host massive gorgonian fans and black coral trees. Strong currents and significant depth make proper planning essential, but the unspoiled condition of the reef makes the effort worthwhile.
