Abu Dabour is a beginner-friendly dive site in the Marsa Alam area offering a relaxed diving experience on a pristine fringing reef. The gentle slope descends gradually from the shore over a healthy coral garden teeming with tropical fish. Anemone cities dot the reef, home to several species of clownfish. The sandy bottom beyond the reef edge is a hunting ground for blue-spotted stingrays, while lionfish and scorpionfish hide expertly among the coral rubble. A great site for macro photography enthusiasts.
