
Halg Dawoud is a beginner-friendly reef near Marsa Alam featuring a beautiful lagoon-like setting with protected waters. The shallow reef flat is covered in diverse hard corals, with deeper sections revealing soft coral gardens. Juvenile fish use the protected areas as a nursery, creating bustling underwater activity. Triggerfish, pufferfish, and boxfish are common residents. The site is often visited by green turtles that rest in the shallows, providing memorable close encounters for divers of all levels.
