
Halg Salmaan is a beginner-friendly coastal reef near Marsa Alam offering easy shore access and relaxed diving. The fringing reef extends along the coast with a gentle slope descending to a sandy bottom. The coral gardens host a diverse fish community, from tiny gobies and blennies to larger groupers guarding their caves. Stonefish and scorpionfish are well camouflaged among the coral rubble, rewarding sharp-eyed divers. The site is sheltered from prevailing winds, ensuring good conditions most of the year.
