Marsa Murena

Marsa Murena is a beginner-friendly bay dive near Marsa Alam named after the numerous moray eels that inhabit its reef. The protected bay features a sandy bottom with coral formations along both sides, creating natural swim lanes for exploration. Giant morays, snowflake morays, and the elegant ribbon moray can all be found here. Beyond the morays, the site hosts colorful nudibranchs, cleaner shrimp, and various species of anemonefish. A favorite site for macro photography enthusiasts.
