Shaab Samaka is an advanced offshore reef near Marsa Alam whose name means 'Fish Reef,' and it lives up to its reputation. The site features a large reef block with walls dropping into deep blue water, covered in spectacular soft coral formations. Enormous schools of anthias, fusiliers, and snappers swarm the reef in incredible density. Grey reef sharks and large Napoleon wrasses are regular residents. The exposed location creates strong currents ideal for exhilarating drift dives, with visibility frequently exceeding 30 meters.
