Ras Umm Sid is an intermediate dive site at one of Sharm el Sheikh's most famous reef headlands in Egypt's Red Sea. The site is renowned for its spectacular giant gorgonian sea fans, some of the largest in the Red Sea, creating a stunning underwater forest effect. The wall drops to significant depth with rich soft coral coverage in vibrant colors. Turtles, Napoleon wrasse, and schools of barracuda frequent the area. Ras Umm Sid's iconic gorgonians and reliable big marine life make it a must-dive site in Sharm el Sheikh.
