Font del Truffe is an advanced cave diving site in the Lot department of Midi-Pyrénées, France, near the famous Quercy causse where limestone bedrock creates some of France's finest underground diving. The resurgence — whose name evokes the region's legendary truffle country — leads to submerged passages with exceptional water clarity. The cave system's architecture includes both horizontal galleries and deeper vertical sections. At approximately 44.8°N in the heart of Quercy, the site sits among the concentration of world-renowned cave dives including Le Ressel and Saint Sauveur. Full cave diving certification and proper technical equipment are absolutely essential for this serious overhead environment.
