Wraysbury Dive Centre is London's closest managed inland dive facility, set in a flooded gravel pit near Staines in Berkshire reaching 18 meters depth. The beginner-friendly site features purpose-built entry platforms, sunken attractions at various depths, and good support facilities including changing rooms, equipment hire, and air fills. The sheltered lake environment provides year-round diving regardless of sea conditions. A submerged double-decker bus, boats, and training platforms create an engaging underwater landscape. Freshwater fish including pike and perch add natural interest. Wraysbury Dive Centre is the training ground for a significant proportion of London's newly qualified divers and hosts courses from every major diving agency.
