Amtrak is an advanced dive site on Guam's southern coast, featuring a sunken WWII amphibious tracked vehicle (AMTRAC) resting on the reef. This historical artifact from the 1944 Battle of Guam has become an artificial reef, its metal frame colonized by hard corals and sponges. The surrounding reef supports diverse marine life including nudibranchs, flatworms, and reef fish, while the wreck itself shelters moray eels and lionfish. This compact but historically significant dive offers a tangible connection to the island's pivotal role in the Pacific War.
