Langkoi Rock is an advanced current dive in Komodo National Park, centered around a submerged rock formation swept by strong tidal currents. The site is known for its big-animal encounters: schools of giant trevally, grey reef sharks, and whitetip reef sharks patrol the blue water around the pinnacle. The rock surfaces are covered in hard corals and sea fans despite the strong current, and eagle rays and manta rays occasionally cruise through. Timing with the tides is critical for a safe and rewarding dive, making Langkoi Rock a site best dived with experienced local guides who know Komodo's dynamic currents.
