Piramidi is an intermediate freshwater dive site near Ravenna in Emilia-Romagna, named for pyramid-shaped concrete structures that have been submerged in the lake to create artificial habitat and training features. The pyramids create interesting underwater navigation challenges and photographic opportunities, with their geometric shapes contrasting against the natural lake bottom. Fish including carp and tench have been attracted to the structures, using them as shelter and feeding stations. The intermediate rating reflects the depth required to reach the deeper pyramid installations. Piramidi adds a creative dimension to the Emilia-Romagna region's inland diving scene, demonstrating how purpose-built underwater installations can enhance both training opportunities and recreational diving interest in freshwater environments.
