Dhonfan Thila

Dhonfan Thila is an intermediate dive site in Baa Atoll, where a submerged coral pinnacle — known in Dhivehi as a thila — rises from the atoll floor to create one of the most accessible and rewarding examples of the underwater structures that define Maldivian diving. Thilas are the Maldives' signature dive sites, submerged mountains of coral that concentrate marine life in remarkable density, and Dhonfan Thila presents this classic formation at depths manageable for intermediate divers.
