Valday Lake — Eagles is a freshwater dive site in Russia's Valdai Hills region, one of the most scenically beautiful inland landscapes in northwestern Russia. The Valdai Hills are a glacially shaped plateau in the Novgorod Oblast, their gentle rolling terrain punctuated by dozens of clear, cold lakes that form the headwaters of several of Russia's great rivers including the Volga, the Dnieper, and the Western Dvina.
