Hin Yetti is a beginner-friendly dive site near Koh Chang in the eastern Gulf of Thailand, a submerged rock formation reaching fourteen meters depth that provides easy, accessible diving in the warm waters of Thailand's second-largest island destination. The site offers a gentle introduction to the Gulf of Thailand's marine environment for divers based in the Koh Chang area. The rock formation rises from the sandy seabed to create a concentrated reef habitat, with the structural relief attracting marine life in greater density than the surrounding flat bottom. Coral growth on the rock includes both hard and soft species, creating a colorful reef environment at comfortable depths. The fourteen-meter maximum and generally calm conditions make this site suitable for newer divers. Fish life is diverse and typical of Gulf reef systems. Schools of snappers and fusiliers provide mid-water movement, while reef fish including damselfish, wrasse, and butterflyfish animate the coral-covered surfaces. The rocky crevices shelter moray eels and small groupers, and blue-spotted stingrays rest on the sandy areas around the base. Hin Yetti provides Koh Chang visitors with an accessible and enjoyable dive option that showcases the genuine marine diversity of the eastern Gulf. The relaxed conditions and reliable marine encounters make it a pleasant site for building diving experience in Thailand's less-visited but rewarding eastern coastal waters.
