Rainbow Road

Rainbow Road is an advanced dive site in the Port Stephens area, NSW. At 30 meters depth, this site is named for the spectacular rainbow of colors created by the dense sponge gardens covering the rocky walls. The vibrant reds, yellows, oranges, and purples of the sponges create one of the most colorful underwater landscapes in NSW. Grey nurse sharks cruise past the walls, and the site attracts schools of trevally, kingfish, and eagle rays.
