Tweed River is a beginner-friendly dive site at the mouth of the Tweed River on the New South Wales-Queensland border. With a maximum depth of 12 meters, the rocky walls of the river entrance provide shelter for a variety of marine life including wobbegong sharks, rays, octopus, and nudibranchs. The site is best dived on an incoming tide for improved visibility. It's a popular spot for night diving when crayfish, crabs, and nocturnal predators become active.
