Pedernales is a historic wreck dive in Aruba featuring the remains of a WWII oil tanker torpedoed by a German U-boat in 1942. The wreckage sits in relatively shallow water and has become a thriving artificial reef teeming with marine life. Coral-encrusted hull sections provide shelter for schools of sergeant majors, French angelfish, and green moray eels, making it both a historical and ecological treasure.
