Asta is an intermediate dive site off Barbados' west coast, reaching depths of 30 meters. The site takes its name from a vessel that now rests on the sandy bottom, creating an artificial reef structure that has been colonized by sponges, corals, and anemones. Schools of grunts and chromis swirl around the wreck, while larger species like barracuda patrol the perimeter.
