
Cordilheiras is a beginner-friendly dive site in Fernando de Noronha, Brazil. Named for its series of underwater ridges that resemble a mountain chain, this site offers an accessible introduction to Noronha's incredible marine biodiversity. The volcanic ridges are covered with colorful sponges and algae, attracting schools of sergeant majors, butterflyfish, and wrasse. Turtles and rays are regular visitors, and the warm, clear waters make every dive a pleasure.
