Fowl Cay Preserve

Fowl Cay Preserve in the Abacos is a protected marine area offering some of the best snorkeling and beginner diving in the northern Bahamas. The preserve encompasses healthy patch reefs, seagrass meadows, and mangrove nurseries teeming with juvenile fish. Green turtles are regular visitors, grazing on the lush seagrass beds. The shallow protected waters rarely exceed 8 meters depth, and the gentle conditions make it an ideal site for new divers and families.
