Shark Junction

Shark Junction in the Bahamas is a popular shark encounter dive where Caribbean reef sharks gather on a sandy plateau surrounded by coral formations. The site operates as a natural cleaning station where sharks come to have parasites removed by small cleaner fish. Divers settle on the sand at around 12 meters and watch as multiple sharks cruise within meters, joined by nurse sharks resting on the bottom and occasional lemon sharks. The shallow depth and calm conditions make this an excellent first shark dive for beginners looking to experience these graceful predators up close.
