Wedge Rock

Wedge Rock at Conception Island is an advanced dive centered on a massive wedge-shaped boulder that has separated from the main wall, creating dramatic swim-throughs and overhangs. The rock sits at the edge of a steep drop-off, its surfaces encrusted with orange cup corals and purple sponges. The gap between the wedge and the wall creates a natural channel where nurse sharks and green moray eels shelter. From the top of the rock at 15 meters, divers look out over the wall dropping into deep blue, where reef sharks and eagle rays frequently cruise by.
