Tuffy Canyon

Tuffy Canyon off Ambergris Caye is an advanced canyon dive cutting through the outer reef wall with steep, narrow passages that create a thrilling underwater adventure. The canyon drops sharply from 12 to 30 meters, its walls lined with vibrant deepwater gorgonians, black coral trees, and yellow tube sponges. Strong currents funnel through the narrows, bringing pelagic visitors including eagle rays, large barracuda, and the occasional hammerhead shark. The canyon's twisting path opens into a sandy amphitheater on the deep side where groupers and snappers congregate. A demanding but rewarding dive for experienced divers.
