Escoumins Crique Est (East Cove) in the Saguenay-St. Lawrence Marine Park offers spectacular cold-water diving to 40 meters. Adjacent to its western counterpart, this advanced site features boulder-strewn slopes descending into the depths of the St. Lawrence Estuary. Dense colonies of plumose anemones blanket the rocky walls, while nudibranchs, sea cucumbers, and colonies of northern coral add vibrant color. The site's exposure to tidal currents demands experience, but rewards divers with some of Quebec's most impressive underwater scenery.
