Vapor Lima off Antofagasta is an intermediate wreck dive on a historic steam vessel resting on the Pacific seafloor. This well-colonized wreck has transformed into a thriving artificial reef, with the ship's structure now covered in anemones, sponges, and encrusting organisms. Resident octopus, conger eels, and large schools of fish make their home among the wreckage, while the Humboldt Current ensures consistent nutrient supply. The wreck's manageable depth and moderate conditions make it an excellent step-up for divers progressing beyond basic certification.
