Bubblecave

Bubble Cave is an advanced dive near the Akamas Peninsula on Cyprus's northwestern coast. This unique site features an underwater cave with a trapped air pocket at the ceiling, where divers can surface inside the cave and breathe the trapped air — hence the bubbling effect that gives it its name. The cave entrance is covered with sponges and marine growth, while the interior provides a surreal experience of surfacing inside a rock chamber. Outside the cave, the surrounding reef hosts Mediterranean groupers, moray eels, and diverse fish species. The cave navigation requires advanced skills and proper training, making Bubble Cave one of Cyprus's most distinctive and memorable dive experiences.
