Manijin Island is an advanced dive site off the northwest coast of Cyprus near the Akamas Peninsula, reaching depths of up to 23 meters. This remote rocky island features dramatic underwater topography with steep walls, boulders, and overhangs covered in vibrant marine growth. The nutrient-rich waters attract larger pelagic species including amberjack, barracuda, and occasionally sea turtles. The rocky reef supports dense colonies of sponges, sea fans, and anemones. Strong currents can sweep through the area, requiring solid buoyancy skills and experience. The pristine, less-visited nature of this site rewards adventurous divers with exceptional marine encounters.
